The National Minority AIDS Council is a 501 (c) 3 organization developing leadership within communities of color to address the challenges of HIV/AIDS. The Council conducts conferences, advocacy efforts, media relations activities, on-site organization needs assessment, and education. NMAC has 40 employees, 3,000 members and a $7,000,000 annual budget.
Upon the recommendation of its accounting firm, the Council installed Anybill in early 2008 Executive Director, Paul Kawata's initial hesitancy to outsource his AP function to an unknown third party subsided as he came to understand Anybill's unique system and advantages. Anybill-based accountability, expedited payments, and access to all key AP information online have become the norm for the NMAC management.
